Carrog School
The School won first prize in the ‘Aqua’ art competition organised by Llangollen Pavillion. Harry Pooler and Sioned Roberts gained commendations for their work and received a T-shirt and cinema tickets. The work was on display in the Gallery of the Pavillion prior to the Food Fair.
Surprise visitors arrived at the school last week - ‘Superted’ and ‘Twf’ - who entertained the children and presented free goody bags. The visit was organised by Menter Iaith to promote bi-linguilism in Schools.
The Junior children enjoyed a day at the Educational Centre in Legacy where they became Celts for the day.
Carrog joined with Llantisilio, Glyndyfrdwy, and Dyffryn Ial for a road safety workshop called ‘Jugglestruck’.
